For Parents

At Franklin School of Innovation, we understand that parental involvement is crucial to every child's success, especially in building strong literacy skills. We are dedicated to establishing a strong partnership with parents by maintaining open, active, and positive communication. Through a variety of communication channels, we ensure that parents are well-informed and engaged in their child's educational journey, with a special emphasis on supporting literacy development.

Importance of Early Literacy at Franklin!

The ability to read is perhaps the most important skill we can teach in school.

The READ Act creates a system to identify students experiencing challenges with reading, to engage parents in the development of reading improvement plans and to provide quality support for those most at risk.

Please look at the READ Act on the Colorado Department of Education website.
